If you are comfortable with a soft solid color that is not too bright, this is the light for you. In complete darkness, it provides sufficient light. If you need a bright light to illuminate the room well, then this lamp is not for you. I've added a self-adhesive strip of light where you can choose the color you want, or it will change color automatically and have different flash patterns and brightness settings under the awning vs the RV and these lights are a little bit more fun. The channel on my canopy is smaller in diameter, so it took two people to install it and a small screwdriver to slide it into the canopy channel.
