The first set of 240XXL Black and 241XL cartridges I ordered worked perfectly. HOWEVER, the second 240XXL Black cartridge I installed began curling and smearing the barcodes to the point of being unreadable. Since I ordered a third set and the problem was with the cartridge and not the printer, I put in a new 240XXL black cartridge and it turned out to be defective. Neither he nor the supplied color did not match. I sent both back for a refund. Coloretto offered a partial credit for a defective old cartridge. However, since they aren't much cheaper than Canon originals, I just ordered a multipack from Canon and had no more problems. Note, however, that if you have a low-quality print, don't assume that cartridge alignment or other simple fixes will work, as they won't. Let's assume that the Coloretto cartridge is defective. If the first set of devices hadn't worked I would have given them a one star rating, but I got a set that worked. Basically, it's not worth the savings, which are pretty much negligible unless you're using large amounts of ink.
