Underpowered mixers often stall when running

I bought this mixer because it was less than half the price ($30 vs. $70) of some others and looked similar. I am not happy with it and will not buy it again. The engine seems very weak. Most of the time when I use it, it stalls first and doesn't start shaking. After repeated attempts, it usually starts (sometimes I can't shuffle it at all). When it works, it seems to work well, but not very well. I use it for mixing acrylic paints for miniatures. Some thicker paints like metallics and thicker consistency paints take a long time to mix and I have to shake my hands a few times between uses of the mixer to get them to mix well. I've added a few videos that hopefully give a good idea of how it works. You can see him stopping a few times in the video. It depends a lot on how you position the bottle and how you squeeze it. In this video it works relatively well - sometimes it falters a lot more. If it were a new edition, I would buy a more expensive device. Having it is better than just shaking my hands, but I'd happily pay twice as much for a blender that works better and mixes my paints thoroughly and quickly.

  • Mixers and Blenders
Cons
