Best flight times in cars and parts with remote and app control

I bought the Hornet after trying a cheaper 818 style drone that failed after 1 hour. (Though I got my money back) It's pretty quiet, pretty stable in no wind, and pretty easy to learn. The video is fine for a 720p camera, but when maneuvering the video gets a bit choppy, which is what you would expect from a drone without GPS. I was missing a tiny screw holding the skids to the chassis and an email to Altair got two full gears in a few days. Good service! Altair also has some good tutorial videos on their website. The only downside I have is that the prop guard is all black making it difficult to tell the front from the back from more than 20 feet away. I painted the front half with red spray paint. The problem is solved. I would say this drone is worth $70 more than the cheaper entry-level drone just for the long flight time and better camera. A word of caution: don't try to learn to fly in a driveway with 6 feet of snow. I had to put on my snowshoes several times to follow him. (;>) EDIT, a month later: During the flight lesson, the drone continued to randomly fall to the ground. At first I thought it was the wind, downdrafts etc. Further flight in good conditions showed that it really wasn't ok. Altair gave me back the full amount and left it for practice. Now he flies perfectly without a camera. I've learned enough to justify buying a Parrot Anafi consumer drone. These worlds are only three times more expensive than each other. (;>)
