This product broke after one use. My nephew opened it, charged it and one of the batteries doesn't even charge, but the one that was charging died after 5 minutes and he couldn't take another battery to put in and fly on because the second battery doesn't charge. This is my first time flying and I really enjoyed using this drone. There are many videos online to help you get started and they are highly recommended, especially if you are a beginner. I started flying indoors in a biplane so I had room to maneuver and after half a dozen flights I took it outdoors on a day with no wind and a day with wind speeds of about 5mph. I bought the Hornet after trying a cheaper 818 style drone that failed after 1 hour. (Though I got my money back) It's pretty quiet, pretty stable in no wind, and pretty easy to learn. The video is fine for a 720p camera, but when maneuvering the video gets a bit choppy, which is what you would expect from a drone without GPS. I just received the AA818 but I've flown it indoors and outdoors. In flight it looks very stable. I had an Altair AA108 for a while and they are completely different beasts. The 108 feels faster and is quite capable both indoors and outdoors. The 818 freezes more easily on video and isn't as responsive to controls (in a good way). Enjoyed this as my first drone and flew several days a week for a couple of weeks. Flying is fun. On the first day I fell a lot (a few hard ones) and got a few scratches, but nothing broke.
