It fits my nikon 3100 with the 18-55 lens and the 55-200 lens with a bit of extra room for one pad to keep the lenses from touching. I also keep my batteries, charger, and a few other things in it. It has good padding and has held up well since i got it over a year ago. The strap tends to tangle a bit and not stay in place, but for the money its a good bag. I'm using this lanyard with my work badge since we have door lock scanners located around the building. The retractable belt clip-on type kept wearing out and breaking over time, and a typical lanyard isn't long enough since all of the scanners are at waist level for me. This seemed like a good combination of the two. The lanyard material is a bit thin. Feels closer to a ribbon. The card holder that comes with it is pretty large.
