First off, Altair Aerial's customer service is top notch. They answered my questions quickly and in an easy to understand way. They also quickly fix bugs and take important things like holidays into account. They have just sent a replacement to everyone who recently ordered an 818 Hornet Plus because some orders were shipped with missing parts. In any business, sometimes mistakes happen, it's inevitable. These guys know how to make up for it. Let's get to the product. Cons: The trimmer and difficulty selector are buttons on the back of the controller. This makes it a bit more difficult to adjust the trim if you're not familiar enough with the button layout and controls. You must use the auto start feature. It would be nice to be able to do it manually, especially when flying indoors. I don't see the quality of the camera as a disadvantage, because a high-quality camera would drastically increase the price. Pros: Customer Service. The drone is very easy to fly. The auto takeoff function works very well, the altitude is also maintained. I crashed into the walls several times (operator error) and didn't leave a scratch. The three skill level modes are amazing and you can definitely tell the difference between them. This is a great drone for beginners to learn the controls and fly a little. I can't say anything about experienced pilots, but it's perfect for beginners. I would recommend trying them out before going anywhere else. I look forward to many hours of learning and flying.
