The camera is a bit unpredictable. The zoom sometimes does not work, sometimes there are problems with the hard disk. So far this has worked and I always have a backup with me. I love this camera and bought one of the first ones. I'm a real estate appraiser and the original camera was the answer to my dreams! I bought backup batteries and an original 2001 charger. I stocked up on floppy disks a few years ago.
