Fast controller for the average Joe

This controller is almost complete, but there are a few inconveniences that prevent me from realizing its full potential. I was very excited to see the announcement of back buttons for 8-bit controllers. Unfortunately, there is no self-programming for these buttons on the remote control. You must use the application if you want to change it for any of the profiles. Each time you do this you have to pair and unpair multiple times and pray for the app to recognize the controller. โ€ข Disconnect from switch โ€ข Pair with phone โ€ข Wait for app to find controller โ€ข Reprogram button inputs โ€ข Hopefully app will automatically pair you again ( โ€ข Manually change mode and pair with switch again). It's annoying to have to go through this process for anything as the controller will sometimes turn itself off between pairings. This will allow you to change pairing modes and turn the controller back on. Being customizable is good, but the official controllers allow you to change the inputs on the switch itself. Some features of this controller are disabled for Switch due to incompatibility issues like triggers. While the controller can connect to Android devices, it's considered its own controller, so expect limited support in games. This makes me wish it was emulated as a Play Station or Xbox controller. So it can be compatible with those consoles and have even more controller support. If you're looking for simple plug and play, look elsewhere. If you're willing to work and fiddle to make this work in every game. I'd say buy it because it's a $50 bargain. It's just not for me personally.
