Installed on a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX. us in colder climates. Many Odyssey owners (now including me) have switched to this 82C from Motorad. Before the installation I noticed that the engine is slowly warming up and the interior heating is not sufficient. I also always used the air conditioning to defrost the windscreen. This winter (2014) we were really tested in the north and I am very happy with the results of switching to this thermostat! The engine warmed up much quicker and the heat was so hot in the "highs" that even on -20F days we turned the cabin heat control down. I haven't had to use the air conditioner to defrost since installing it as the heat directed towards the windshield is MUCH hotter. If you live in the north and haven't changed your thermostat in a long time, make sure to use this one. Thermostats wear out very slowly, so it's often difficult to know when it's time to replace them. Installation Tips: Make sure the new thermostat gasket is installed to match your vehicle. Set the vent to the 12 o'clock position to allow air to escape to prevent "air lock".
