I'm sure I'll always have this item at home. We first tried this when our dog was a puppy and potty trained. I have tried many other cleansers and natural solutions with no success. Not only did this remove urine odor and stains, it also removed several other stains from my carpet including: Dog DiarrheaCat VomitDr. PepperInkOrange JuiceOil Cream FrostingMudNeon Blue MarkerClayKool-AidTeaChocolatePasta SauceLubeUnknown Sticky SubstanceHerb Did I mention I have an ivory carpet? Best of all, it's incredibly easy to use. To get rid of the odor, simply blot the liquid (urine, etc.) off the carpet and spray. For stains, spray onto the damp area, then leave on for 30 minutes or longer, the more severe the stain, the longer. When the time is up, rub a little with a towel. I have a friend who uses it to detail cars. I also recently tried it as a seam cleaner and I was amazing! Worked better than any other cleanser or formula I've found on Pinterest. I just sprayed it on, brushed with an old toothbrush (I don't have a fancy grout brush), and wiped dry. I can't recommend it highly enough.
