I wanted a new coffee table for the room I was remodeling but really didn't want to take the time to put something together. I liked how the description gave the impression that you only put the top right side on the bottom stand. And that's what it is, and it's wonderful. I was very surprised that the tray's table top is larger than I expected. There is enough space for my lamp, clock, sound machine and mug. I thought something just sitting on a stand would wobble, but it really doesn't. It's really very durable and holds the weight very well. Haven't tried it yet but the attachment would really make a nice big tea or breakfast tray. This is truly a dual purpose table. You can remove the top at any time and use it separately. I love the modern, minimal design and structure and will now be purchasing a second table like this for the other side of the bed. I highly recommend this especially if you want something that doesn't require assembly with a modern or industrial design.
