I want to give it 4 stars but I can't because the battery life is not that good. I use 2900 NiMH rechargeable batteries because I think this thing could eat regular alkaline batteries. Initially the light is pleasantly bright, but after it drains the batteries to about 60-50% you get dim light. When it reaches that percentage, which for me is about a week, using it for 10-15 minutes once or twice a day renders it useless. It has been 2 weeks since I last charged the batteries and for the last 5 days it has been weak and useless. I did not expect such a dimming effect from LED lamps. I also expected that they would be LED that the batteries would last longer.
