Review on 🔧 Autel ML629: Upgraded OBD2 Scanner with Full Functions - ABS, SRS, Engine, Transmission Diagnoses - Ideal for DIYers and Professionals by Derrick Wilson

Worried it would not work but so far it is fully compatible with a 1999 Honda Accord. I also have a 2012 Honda Odyssey, a 2001 Audi S4 and a 2014 Subaru WRX that I will try on so will update this review once tested. What made me buy it was the SRS warning light on my 1999 Honda Accord. . I tried the whole YouTube DIY on how to get rid of the SRS warning light but it didn't work. It also doesn't tell me which sensor is triggering the error. Is it an airbag, seat belt tension sensor, buckle sensor? So I chose Autel after reading a few reviews and comparisons online. I originally wanted to buy the ML619 but saw this ML629 for $10 more. The device itself is larger than I expected. The rubber exterior is nice and feels solid, but the device itself is very light. It kind of tells me there probably isn't much real hardware in there, but if it does what they tout I'm fine with that. Plug it into the OBD2 port under the driver's side dash and run the scan tool. He immediately told me that the SRS error was caused by the driver's side seat belt sensor. After researching online, this repair turned out to be covered under Honda's lifetime warranty, so I'm having it repaired for free. That helped a lot because now I'm armed with the knowledge of what exactly the problem is. I will not be robbed at a dealership or mechanic for "diagnosing" a problem. I experimented with a few other features while connected to the Honda and everything seemed to work. I will not go online and download updates as many reviews say this is a fake and unsecured website from China. No thank you.
