Once in a while something "works". Bought these to use during travelling and in hotter weather. They are not sturdy, controlling material but soft and barely noticeable and no panty line around my thigh. Going to buy another pair in another color.They're basically underwear with legs.I liked the soft waistband a lot. Not a girdle.I'm 5'3" and 230lb. Got 2x and just right. Big belly and this size let me pull the waist up to the natural waist. Might not work if you're taller but the fabric is very forgiving. IMO true to size.Pretty if tiny bit peeks out under skirt.
