It's good for our new family dining table . This is a good looking, thick, inexpensive vinyl tablecloth. Mine still shows the original creases even after months of use (with no attempt to remove it other than gravity while it's on the table). The tablecloth shows signs of wear. We have a brown print so the brown is scratched here and there showing traces of white. It still protects the table and is better than some of the more expensive ones that don't fold well and tear easily. I still like it! When it was brand new some people got confused or assumed it was fabric and I had a lot of questions as to where I got it from. Update: This tablecloth has fully protected my table, but after daily use (including two school-age children) there are actually some small tears on it and more paint is scratched. Also, ours moved completely around our wooden table, but I solved this with some grippers designed for rugs. It still looks good from afar, but not that close, so I'll probably try something else soon. However, it did its job perfectly and fully protected the wooden table underneath and it was a good buy.
