With two separate mice, the scroll wheel broke easily

This mouse was a dream at first. Good weight, smooth response, always like a braided line, it has a slick, pleasing design, but the scroll wheel has broken twice already. The first broke after the fall. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't the mouse's fault. Second? I had this mouse for about 2 months before the wheel broke again. Never dropped but with heavy daily use the part of the mouse wheel that lets it turn just the right amount broke, allowing the wheel to spin freely meaning every mouse movement scrolled the page. or the program I was using because the wheel was drifting. The wheel also spins without moving, which is VERY frustrating when trying to do something as simple as highlighting text etc. I dunno maybe I'm just unlucky but I won't buy another one of those expensive mice when I have one for $20 will do what I need without breaking.
