Terrible hum when turning on
At a quarter (nine o'clock) the volume was surprisingly loud and very, very bright; too bright. When the volume was turned up past a quarter, there was a very loud hum, almost like feedback. I've tried moving the preamp closer to the platter and then further away, but got the same result. I checked the ground and cable again and everything was connected correctly. I disabled it because I didn't want to damage my Klipsch Cornwall speakers.
