This was exactly what I was looking for in a birthday cake I made. The gold leaf was a little difficult to place where I wanted, I probably sacrificed a leaf or two during the learning curve. I used about 5 sheets for a 7 layer cake; The leaves are quite small, but a little goes a long way.
