Great daypack for a day on the go with a camera

If you're looking for a durable daypack that will securely carry gear and belongings around town or on a modest day trip it's just the Size of a school bag, this is a good buy. The front pocket easily fits a 10-inch tablet, a book or two, magazines, or other flat items. The upper compartment is quite roomy. It easily fits a couple of books, a spare rain jacket or fleece, shoes, snacks or other gear. The camera compartment is adjustable and well padded. The camera compartment fits a Nikon d5600 with a 17-50mm f/2.8 lens attached , 35mm prime and 18-140mm telephoto lens and a few bits and bobs (charger etc). I think it fits easily in a full frame camera as there is room in my smaller camera body. If you reconfigure the interior you can carry a larger zoom than I do. Of course you can also put larger lenses, additional bodies and other things in the spacious upper compartment. There are also two water bottle pockets that offer more space for a thin bottle (e.g. a 24-26oz bike bottle, not a wide Nalgene bike bottle). Camping). The set also includes a rain cover, housed in its own small bag. doesn't look like a camera bag. I'm sure it will easily fit in the trunk of a regional jet too. This is a practical bag, well designed but designed for traveling light. It's not a solution for a night hike or if you need to lug around a pro shooting set all day, but I'd wear it on a 10-mile trail or all day around town when playing camper. and wanted to travel light and indulge in his photographic error. Things this backpack CANNOT do: - No straps or buckles to attach extra items to the outside of the bag. You can probably fit a thin portable tripod into a water bottle holder, but not sure. - There is no proper waist belt (just a belt) but it would be difficult to load it up enough that he needs it. - There is no special place for the water bladder system. When you want or need it all, get the Photo Sport 200/300 AW.

Pros
