As a lifelong A student, I put up miles and ran much faster than my body could handle. Eventually, after a few minor injuries, I developed posterior tibial tendinitis, and after a few failed runs, I quit altogether. It's been about a month since I stopped running and yesterday I ran 2 miles with this support. I've tried a few different ones including the same larger product that didn't provide enough pressure. This one (small) is perfect. It offers a healthy level of support and really keeps the ankle in place without cutting off blood supply or stumbling like some other products as it's on the thinner side without sacrificing support. Thin enough to wear under running socks. I will continue to use it as I gradually return to running. I wear size 7-7.5 shoes and my ankles are probably a little thinner than average. Size small, fits perfectly.
