We like to travel and stay in vacation rentals - which often means trying to transport groceries from one location to another without a bulky cooler. This is a perfect solution. Fits right inside my suitcase (it does take up some room) and pops right open for our groceries. Small enough for beach picnics but big enough to hold our perishables for the drive to both Hana (yes, 2+ hours), back to Makawao (another 2+ hours) and on our last visit from Volcano to Kailua-Kona with a hiking stop on the way (closer to 4 hours). We just fill with ice from supermarket or our rental and put our meat, milk, cheese and other items for the long trip between locations. Everything stays nice and cold - and we haven't had any leakage. Next trip will be using it on the mainland during long drive in Canada. I'm sure it will do just fine! In the meantime, it travels with us for our Costco runs.
