They worked WELL for me. I don't know why it was causing static or issues with my other (unused) ports on the mixer and yes I've tried everything. So I have to take it out when not in use. I have other adapters but they are rubber covered and I have no problem with them. Based on my experience, I will not buy it again. I don't want to cause any (roasting or burning) problems in my blender. I have rarely used unless I have a choice. Even if it's FREE, in my experience I wouldn't use it unless you want your mixer or whatever device you plug in to break.
