Review on Blomus Stainless-Steel Door Stopper by Stacy Wheeler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cool, heavy, perfect solution!

This doorstop is amazing. I searched and searched for something to prevent the outer door from hitting a piece of furniture. It had to be high enough that the door didn't easily open over the doorstop, but not too high to look silly. And it had to look stylish, it's in the dining room. I tried one of those nautical things tied together with rope and it didn't work at all, it wasn't heavy enough. This piece is very heavy and has a rubber bottom so not only does it move with the door, it actually stops it. And the rubber on the sides prevents damage to the door. Immediately after purchase my contractor offered a strong bracket to attach to the door hinge so I ended up not needing the stopper BUT although my husband would have preferred I returned it as it was a bit pricey he so great that i saved! those rare moments when I want to leave the door open (instead of holding it open) and the wind slams it shut.

Pros
  • 3-1/2 inch diameter; weighs 4-1/2 pounds; designed in Germany
