The only complaint I have with this monitor is that my particular instance comes with a stuck red pixel. The reality of LCD manufacturing is that things like this happen from time to time. In my case, I was able to gently rub the affected pixel with my fingertip and it came off. Other than that minor issue, I've had no problems with the monitor, although I've been subjected to quite a bit of abuse, from carrying it to and from LAN parties to handling (or should I say handling a toddler) by my very active son's side . .Asus products tend to be of very decent quality and this monitor is no exception. It's not an IPS panel, so the colors aren't phenomenal, but they're at least as good as any other monitor I've seen in this price range. and response times are more than adequate for games and videos. Viewing angles are good, but not great - you can't see this from extreme angles - but it's clear and easy to see from a large room. Resolution jump over 1920x1080. I don't want to spend extra money on, say, a 27" or 30" monitor unless it's a seriously high resolution. But 1080P looks pretty good on this monitor in Windows 7, even with large menu bars and a short start menu. Overall I would say it is excellent value for money.
