On a small photo on the net it looked good. In person, it's just as (more) attractive. It also feels good. I like the texture of the embossing as well as the pattern. Functionally, it holds my Kindle securely and can act as a sandwich-style stand on a countertop. The only (and really very small) issue for me is that the power and volume buttons are a little harder to press than on my previous Kindle cases. Overall I am very satisfied with this product: it works and looks better than the photos.
