I'll start by saying I've only changed the bulbs on my '04 Sierra, so I can't comment on the quality of the stepper motors. The soldering iron was good for what I needed, it met all my expectations and I'm sure that if I need to solder again in the future I won't have any problems with the supplied soldering iron. The bulbs that came with this kit don't have a longer side to determine positive/negative if you need to know, but that wasn't important for my project. The lamps didn't impress me with their luminous intensity, but they worked well. This kit does not include an instruction manual, so do not rely on it to understand what you are doing. I found the solder quality unsatisfactory, I decided to just leave the solder on my board as it didn't affect the result and I couldn't see it. The kit had about twice as much solder as I needed, which was good so I didn't have to try to be conservative with it. If the bulbs were brighter I would give 5 stars. All in all I'm just happy to see my night race and this kit made it possible at a low price.
