Given the low price, it's hard to complain about this thing. Make sure you can set up 2.4GHz WiFi - it doesn't work on 5GHz. Also, you need to connect your phone to the 2.4GHz WiFi during the initial setup. After this initial setup, you can access the camera from anywhere using your phone. You can control camera movement from your phone, take pictures from your phone, save recordings from your phone, call to talk to someone holding the camera, etc. You can also set up an alert when the camera detects movement . I haven't played with it enough to fully understand it, but I do know that you can also set it to record when motion is detected. I just need to set up storage to connect. The image is clear both in the light and in the dark. Definitely recommend this if you want to go down the cheap security/surveillance route. I wish it had a battery option, but then again, at this price point, it's hard to complain about such things.
