Review on 🧽 Rubbermaid 15" White Dishpan: 15.6 Qt, Convenient Size of 15.23" x 12.46" x 7.8 by Michelle Watson

Bought to replace similar Rubbermaid dishes we've had for about ten years or more that have developed mold over the last year which was too difficult to remove. (The result of my husband washing dishes at dinner most nights and then leaving water in the sink for several hours afterwards?) A few months ago I bought a dish sink from the store to replace, but the Sterilite was smaller (much smaller) and yet it had edges that protruded too far to fit the width of our sink. As others have pointed out, Rubbermaid is a much thicker plastic than Sterilite. We didn't have any issues with the plastic on our old Rubbermaid so I hope this one lasts as long and we clean it every night. Rubbermaid is great for washing pots, while Sterilite is flat and small. This Rubbermaid dishwasher is a little bigger than our old one so it just fits the width of our sink while the old one had some wiggle room at either end. We could easily mount it lengthwise, but I like having the pot on one side of the sink and leaving the other third of the sink empty for washing dishes. I didn't know the plastic contained Microban, but I see our old one contained it too (but still got moldy over time). I would have preferred the plastic WITHOUT Microban and therefore 4 instead of 5 stars.
