To get this out of the way - my desk looks much better than it did before, and this cost much less than a new desk or top. Here is why it did not get 5 stars:1) My desk is 59" long. So, the 118" roll should be perfect, right? Nope, the film is about 1.5" shorter than promised. Really? Yes. Had to cut some small pieces to cover the whole desk.2) The material is pretty thin. This makes it stretch-able which may be good or bad, depending on what you are covering. For a flat, rectangular area it is not advantageous. Also, very easy to rip and damage. I have no idea how, but just after applying it, I must have hit it somehow and it ripped just a little bit in front. No big deal, but I better treat this like an egg.3) It is rolled fairly tight, and the inner part is bent so much that it becomes difficult to remove all the bubbles. Not an issue with the first half of the roll. Wish they would roll it onto something with a slightly larger diameter.It was not very hard to apply, and like I said, looks pretty good, at least initially.
