The paper looks Iike the photo, nice rich black and didn't look cheap.however, installation was difficult. Paper is super thin & the adhesive is GREAT, making it difficult to pull back up & relay if they is a wrinkle or air bubble. It ripped almost every time I pulled it back up to relay. Any wrinkles or folds in the paper, would turn white so you could see the damage. This contact paper is professional quality. It goes on with ease and you can peel it off and reposition it for correctness as many times as you like and it will still stick and lay well. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because the cutting guide lines on the back are not straight. I learned that the hard way on my first project. Luckily my first project was a small one. I used a straight edge after that.

It's a great product, nothing extremely wrong with it. For large surfaces this product is easy to ruin whatever you're wrapping, I destroyed the L part of my desk because the roll wrinkled up horribly even when I had help applying. User error is going to play 80% of why I'm not giving this product anything higher but the way that it comes packaged and rolled, the wax paper stuck on the back really could be triple the thickness for easier application.

To get this out of the way - my desk looks much better than it did before, and this cost much less than a new desk or top. Here is why it did not get 5 stars:1) My desk is 59" long. I originally ordered this contact paper a few years ago and loved it so much. I lived in a not great apartment and didnt like the look of the built in desk that was in my room. This contact paper was so amazing, went on easily and didnt rip no matter what I had put on to it. I did have to remove it when I was moving out and it left a slight sticky reside but it came off easily with some soap and water. Just ordered a bunch again for my new apartment and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend.

So if you've never put down vinyl it won't turn out good without being careful if you've done it before you should have 0 problems. It looks good if you can do it right however I'd you don't it can look terrible.

Handle with care! Papered the tops of nightstand and dresser. Applied from the center outward worked well. Some wrinkles from the roll. Corners and curves are tricky. Once stretched from reapplying it tears.

Would recommend. It was ok over all but the paper at certain point would crinkle and it’s hard to get out. Thanks for attention.

This is ok very thin . small roll and I had just enough for and office desk. I couldn't get out all the creases no matter how I pressed and used a flat dough cutter to smooth out.

In trying to wrap my island when I needed to pull the paper to go back and get rid of bubbles it tore. It is beautiful but not easy to work with.

Good product but they should use cardboard to pack the roll. The contact paper was creased from the start. Also none of the edges were straight. Don’t trust the already cut sides to be straight.

Unlike other wallpaper that you can peel apart easily if the sticky part touches something, this tire easily. It required us to waste some 6’ sections because the edge tore. It also took a lot of time to get bubbles out. However, for the price, it was great.

The first roll I bought a year ago was nice and thick and adhered well. This smaller roll was very thin and wouldnt adhere as well as the one before. I'm going to order another one and see if it's better, if not, will not buy again.
