We originally bought this swing to ride our kids swing, it was too long but our kids already love it. So we decided to hang ourselves from a tree in the yard. We had to add a bit of chain to make it low enough for them, but now they use it every day. My six year old has already started rope climbing. The husband tested himself in front of the children and he had the strength to stand up. The rope is soft enough not to hurt hands, but you can still hold onto it to climb. This has been a great addition to our garden for our growing children.
