Review on Contigo AUTOSEAL Cortland Bottle Monaco by Andrew Cramer

I bought this water bottle to make sure I'm drinking enough water at work now that I'm pregnant. My girlfriend suggested this bottle as she found the trigger button very handy and I agree that you don't have to suck water through a straw, it's much better. However, in my case, the bottle has a huge weakness. During the time I've been using it, I've dropped the cap twice on carpet rather than a hard surface, and each time all parts of the cap have blown apart! I'm a very hands-on person so both times I spent about 15 minutes due to the tiny space in the lid getting things put together and working, but if it had been someone with less time or patience they couldn't have fixed it this thing. Not to mention that in one of those cases there's a good chance one of the pieces could get lost under the office furniture and for me it actually ended the life of this bottle! I don't know if I received a bad item or if it was a design flaw, but this is my experience with the item and I hope it helps other buyers.
