Could Use Improvement; Material Nice

UPDATE: 27 Sep 2018I have used the duvet cover & shams. I've upgraded from 2 stars to 3, as the cover fit my king size wool comforter nicely. I'm still bummed about the lack of vibrant colors, they really lean towards. . . pastel. So, if softer colors or pastel colors are your thing, then this might be okay. Laundered all right, so far. Longevity still to be tested, as I switch out my covers seasonally, and I didn't use my wool comforter during the summer!I still think the buttons should be sewed on well before this ever leaves the manufacturer!I will update this rating/review after I actually use the item (which probably won't be until Autumn/Winter, since it's for my wool duvet insert). The reason it's 2-stars right now is that I do like it, material seems nice. However, coloring is far less vivid than pictured--which is okay with me, the colors are nice, just not as bright. More, though, is that one of the buttons didn't even survive the duvet cover being turned inside out for the seam check! I was able to find the fallen button, which I will have to sew on, along with securing the rest of them. The buttons are not sewn on very well at all, which is at least a permanent 1/2 star to full star deduction. The "ties" for the insert are not securely sewn in, and appear to be added to the seaming, which leaves potential for ripping the seam (that would be a shame!).The raw edge of the seams are surged, and then the seaming done appears to be okay. I will have to see how it holds up to laundering, after I sew on the buttons. The shams (for the King size) are long and narrow-- likely would fit king size pillows (which I do not have).I'd recommend to manufacturer--Brandream--to make some improvements to the product. For example, sew the buttons on securely. It would also be nice to have fabric content and care in English; language is an Asian language, with universal symbolic laundry instructions. The "ties" to hold the insert are not sewn in very well-- I am concerned that it will rip the seam. Also, not all the ties were cut, leaving a loop-- the loop is long enough to use it as a tie, but there is still that concern about not being securely sewn. On the positive side, fabric is soft and seems to be well woven. Time will tell.Overall, I'm looking forward to trying out the duvet cover and shams, especially since the colors go so well in my room. I hope there will be longevity to this set, but only time will tell on that. I will update when time has passed.
