Review on πŸ”Œ Miserwe Dual Edge Blade USB Rechargeable Nose Hair Trimmer - Painless Electric Trimmer for Men and Women, Nose and Ear Hair Grooming by Pamela Warfield

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Light and poorly designed

I realize that I am the first reviewer to give this product a rating above or below average. I wanted to like it. I have an old Wahl trimmer that has served me well except when the battery started dying. When this happens it can be a painful experience. So when I saw that this item was USB rechargeable I was excited (at least as much as one can be about a nose trimmer). Having a device that I could charge before use every time seemed ideal to me. At least in theory. But in practice this was not the case. The device has a weak motor. I'm guessing, based on how often he howls, he spins the blade about 50-60% faster than my pick. Also, the metal cap is extremely poorly constructed. The Wahl cap is about 50% larger and offers significantly more coverage. The Wahl lid is also open at the top, and the metal sides simply flex to provide ample protection, while the lid on the actual unit flexes to fully cover the top. The slits on the sides of the Wahl, which allow hair to enter where the blade block sits, are about twice the length of that block's cap. This actually means that choice allows at least three times the area of hair access. hair to get at the blade. This is because the Wahl's open top allows hair to enter the top of the device and if you move the cap the hair can slip into the slot and be cut. Because the cap of this device is closed at the top, hair can only get in if you match it with the slot from the start. And even then, the gap is shallow, allowing less hair to get into the cap. Long story short, I used the device and was surprised to hear a small "pop," the sound made when the blade cuts a hair. After using the device for the usual amount of time, I used my pinky to make sure all of the hair was gone. They weren't. So I pulled the dial out and there was at least twice as much "pop" when I used it and then when I did a pinky test the hair was gone. heard a lot if any "pops" were used when using the dial and shouldn't have had a smoother result from the dial. If the device comes close to the results with Wahl, I would give it 3 stars. It's not like this. So 2 stars seemed fair.
