I bought these to use with my home built and designed CNC. I have a couple made of brass but as this machine will be turning into a production machine for light but continuous work I see no benefit in using a faster wearing material which would require more frequent disassembly to replace. Performance compared to those I use in my 3D printers. I had no problems with concentricity, out-of-roundness or other dimensional inaccuracies. The strength of the material and its location in the machine will not damage brass. the metal it replaces. In fact, POM compression is way better than brass.
