Holes without thread M3.

product quality and accuracy are fine, but the mounting holes are not tapped. I know it's not in the description but the photo shows M3 threaded holes which is why I bought them.

Perfect Fit - Linear Motion Lead Screws

I was worried that they would could have burrs or other minor manufacturing defects given the low price, but are very well made. I installed them on my Creality CR-10s Pro V2 because it's my first time running it, so I can't comment on the change in noise levels, but the loudest thing about this printer is the fans. They have a very smooth movement. I installed the top through the top of the bracket so the screw is perfectly centered. A lot of people mount them at the bottom but I see that asโ€ฆ

Fresh from the start, they do not cause a negative reaction, but it is pleasant to know that they will never appear.

I bought these to use with my home built and designed CNC. I have a couple made of brass but as this machine will be turning into a production machine for light but continuous work I see no benefit in using a faster wearing material which would require more frequent disassembly to replace. Performance compared to those I use in my 3D printers. I had no problems with concentricity, out-of-roundness or other dimensional inaccuracies. The strength of the material and its location in the machineโ€ฆ
