As advertised best in my review

I used this wire to make several projects for my kid. We made a DC motor and a Telegraph Morse code kit. After the prototypes, we made several more kits for some friends' kids. Fast delivery and good packaging. Thanks!

    Pros
    • Suitable for a range of applications, this wire is ideal for building transformers and inductors, among other uses
    Cons
    • Can be prone to melting under high temperatures

Very good product. - my new review

Product came in on time and very good condition. Proct is excellent for repair of instrument clusters, trace repair and other micro soldering applications.

    Pros
    • High Quality enameled Copper Wire!Durable and not break while winding the coils.Highly Efficient!
    Cons
    • Difficult to work with in tight spaces

    Good Product good for me

This is exactly what I expected. Good quality. This wire IS coated. Pay attention to that when buying copper wire. Not ideal for applications requiring high reliability!

    Pros
    • Whether you're building a transformer or an inductor, this magnet wire performs consistently, providing reliable results every time
    Cons
    • Not ideal for applications requiring high reliability

Overall good product just make sure you know the size you need

I purchased the wrong product so this did not actually function well for me but if I had done more research about coil making, I believe this product would work well. If overalls functioned in my test due to the wrong wire size

    Pros
    • This wire is easy to wind and work with, making it a great choice no matter your level of experience
    Cons
    • May require specialized handling to avoid tangling and knotting

    Voice coil built from scratch.

I love the quality of the wire it did an excellent job of generating magnetic fields. My project was to build a voice coil which is an electro mechanical part in your standard speaker. Original part damaged beyond repair and was unable to find the correct size and specifications. The project was a success thanks to some skill and this wire's quality.

    Pros
    • Compatible with Various Equipment
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to recycle and dispose of properly

    Good choice for coils

This seems to be very good quality wire. It was malleable and the enamel was rugged. I got no enamel flacking or cracking when winding 1.5 inch coils for ham radio use. Even 180 degree bends were crack free. I'll buy more.

    Pros
    • Needed it to wind toroids. Had no issues using. Now I have 9 miles of wire left over. GOOD quality
    Cons
    • Not ideal for high current applications

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Perfect for what I needed

Perfect for the application I needed it for. Was thin enough to go through the holes of the circuit board that I had. That's my feedback!

    Pros
    • This was a gift for a kid who never used it. I’d love to have it back so I could use it.
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to handle during installation

50 feet of 18AWG enameled copper

Worked as expected. I found it odd the length was not included but it should be 50 foot given the weight, gauge, and type of material (copper).plus other 4oz spools of 18 gauge copper seem to all be 50 feet.

    Pros
    • Works exactly what I’m using it for!
    Cons
    • May require specialized equipment for winding

Great "magnet wire " with enameled insulation

This kind of wire is extremely useful in "hand wiring" Toroid high frequency transformer, since the insulation is extremely thin enamel, temperature rated up to 155'C. The spool allows mounting on either round shaft, allowing it to spin free, or on a hexangular shaft to be held in place. Wire size is clearly written on the top.

    Pros
    • With a 3.0lb spool, this wire provides a lot of value for its cost, making it an affordable choice for both hobbyists and professionals alike
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to work with in adverse weather conditions

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    It's enamel coated wire

It seems to be the proper gauge and it's coated in enamel. Did not have any trouble winding a magnet for a science project. However, did not test whether the coating held up or if any windings were shorted out.

    Pros
    • Excellent coating, i use it for circuit board trace repairs, no short circuits
    Cons
    • Prone to tangling and kinking during use

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Just what we needed

A d cell battery, a nail, enameled wire, and a bunch of metal things and a young boy is busy learning about magnetism from Papa. Keeps him busy for hours.

    Pros
    • Industrial & Scientific
    Cons
    • Prone to tangling and knots

Easy to solder to, essential for tiny projects

I bought this in hopes of being able to solder to even smaller test pads on certain device logic boards, as the 28 AWG stranded wire I had previously did not cut it. Seeing that many of the reviews on this magnet wire were mostly about making motors and repairing transformers I was a bit worried, but the insulation comes off the moment the soldering iron touches it. It's super helpful for the electronics work I do and I dont know how I went so long without it.

    Pros
    • perfect
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    It's like wire, ya know?

But it's very fine wire. Seriously, nicely rolled, pretty color, and exactly as described and therefore exactly what I needed. Perfect.

    Pros
    • coating is a bit difficult to remove. That can mean better insulation, depending on your needs.
    Cons
    • Tough to splice or repair if damaged

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good product. on my review.

Product came in and packaging was nice. Condition was good. Very good wire for repairing dash ckusters and other electronics.

    Pros
    • It is thinner than I thought but worth it for the amount of wire you get
    Cons
    • Too small for magnetic induction science project

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    It's wire all right

It is hard to review a roll of wire, and when I tried to examine it closely I found the spool cyclic if anything. The red enamel on the wire reminded me of the peonies blooming in my childhood, and I wanted to know this wire more. I learned Chinese so we could converse - I found out the name of the coil was Henry. Oh the times we had wrapping.

    Pros
    • Used these to update a HyGain beam, highly recommend
    Cons
    • High potential for electromagnetic interference (EMI

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I got what I needed when I needed it.

What can I say? I needed 22 gauge wire to make some chokes so I found it on revain ordered it and received it in a timely manner.I’d recommend this to anyone.

    Pros
    • Bought this to show the grandchildren how to make a crystal set. Still in the box -- BAD PAWPAW.
    Cons
    • Expensive compared to other types of wiring

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good magnet wire. for my opinion

This is good magnet wire. I use it for building antennas and it seems to tolerate being outside in the elements just fine.

    Pros
    • The wire maintains a consistent diameter throughout the spool, ensuring that your work is neat and tidy
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to find in larger spools or bulk quantities

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Buy something better

The wire has several bare spots where the coating should be. I can't trust this wire. Another useless product. I need to find a better place to buy my supplies.

    Pros
    • BNTECHGO magnetic copper wire is widely used in the construction of transformers, wound coils, motors, solenoids, instruments, inductors, speakers, electromagnets, and other applications that require tight coils of insulated wire.
    Cons
    • Difficult to maintain consistent performance over time

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

What a good wire for my opinion

This wire worked very well to help me build a crystal radio with my grandson. It works very well that wire did the trick. This was my second attempt to build a working radio.

    Pros
    • The red color coding makes it easy to distinguish this wire from others, streamlining the use and organization of wires in your workspace
    Cons
    • Highly susceptible to breakage during transportation and handling

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Best for school projects

It was very easy to use for anyone trying it for the first time and it came as perfectly displayed. Definitely would buy again for a project specifically for the amount that I am given

    Pros
    • I use this wire to pull in AM/FM Radio stations stronger stereo signals and strengthens AM signals
    Cons
    • Limited availability in some areas
