I think it's a great bag! ! The material is durable nylon, just like the Jeppesen bags. The threads and stitching are strong and well finished. The zippers are comfortable, all closures are good. I like the double zip top closure for easy access. I need a smaller bag than my Jeppesen Navigator bag. It's a fairly large bag, only slightly smaller than a Jep Captain bag. It's time to pack less for shorter flights, plus you no longer need all your Jep cards and leather ties, just a few backup paper cards for tablets and iPad cards. I looked at many bags and they were either too big or too small or poorly designed. I want my 2 Bose headsets (an X and an A20) to fit. To clear up the confusion, the two side pockets of this case will definitely fit a headset, I also put a Yaesu transceiver and some spare AA batteries in the Bose X as well. That's it for side pocket space. The other holds my A20 with no problems. The main compartment holds iPad Air, double knee pads, Ram mount with elbows for iPad, glasses case, iPad charger, some papers, a small horn (or whistle - have you ever tried to get someone's attention outside?), a Cockpit with a working engine ?) and my logbook. I could fit a little more but that's all I need and the body of these doesn't bulge at all. The front and back pockets are pretty shallow, so I don't want to stuff them with things I don't need. Just spare pens, a small flashlight if I'm late, a few sachets of gel for relief and that's it! A side pocket has a mesh pocket for a water bottle. Below is the same rigid bottom panel and these dividers fold in 2 places as they say. very well thought out! The bag is definitely smaller than my Jep bag and I think this bag is better quality. I hope this helps clarify what the bag can hold. When I have more information I will update this review. I would add that other ANR headsets might be bulkier than Bose as other reviewers have mentioned BUT if you have Bose don't worry. Additional Info: This bag is narrower than most, so items placed in the center compartment will stack sideways instead of just being stacked. The big plus is that the bag is less bulky and takes up much less space. If you're flying a single seater, like a 172, Warrior-Archer, Mooney, you'll appreciate putting your bag in the back seat with a few passengers instead of in the luggage. wheels up!
