Warning if you have plastic caps you will feel bad but you will get rid of them forever. I've had plastic caps and the problem is that the plastic is malleable enough to succumb to any torque from your flat head but strong enough to stay there until you cut it out. Don't drill it out, you will hit the spindle nut. If you can make a hole big enough for an 8mm socket you can take out the spindle and then drill out the rest of the pathetic plastic cover. The kit includes a metal plug so you'll never have to do this ridiculous exercise again. Furthermore, everyone cheers.
