Solid Kart Is Safe And Fun

Our four year old has a Barbie Jeep, but this flex cart does a better job fitting into our active lifestyle. The kart’s handle folds down, and compactly fits inside our Toyota trunk. We can take it all over—to local parks, rails-to-trails or anywhere where there is smooth pavement, including our own neighborhood. It’s as much fun as the bigger Jeep--two MPH is fast enough to keep her happy and that slower speed gives us peace of mind.Initial assembly takes about twenty minutes. Be aware that the frame lock needs to be pulled out less than ¼” to disengage and expand the frame. A press of a button while gently squeezing tabs fully extends the steering wheel. Attaching the seat and steering wheel with hardware was easy. An initial battery charge requires 24 hours before use, but thereafter can be charged in 8-12 hours’ time. We can get about an hour or so run time out of the kart before it needs recharging. The kart is easy to operate (power button located on steering wheel) and fold up. It can only go in a forward direction (no reverse), but is easy to turn around by simply turning the steering wheel or picking the machine up and manually pointing it in the other direction. We were a bit disappointed to discover the white/gray kart we ordered came to us in red/black, but once our little girl hopped aboard the kart, the color problem was no longer an issue. She’s been loving this ride ever since.

Pros
  • Rollplay
Cons
  • May not be as smooth to ride as other electric go-karts on the market
