I bought this for my husband to take my 2 daughters temperature due to coronavirus. This greatly facilitates temperature measurement in children. Instead of making her stand still with a thermometer under her tongue, she can just point, shoot, and take the temperature on her forehead in seconds! Wonderful! At first we didn't think it was accurate, so we tested another popular brand that's almost four times the price and the measurements were 36.5 degrees and 36.4 degrees, respectively. I had no idea which was more accurate so I tried a conventional mercury thermometer and it also showed 36.5 degrees. I don't think there was a big difference! It also has a dual surface measurement mode! Anyway, I think it's a good buy!
