My family and I were bitten by bugs and I wanted to try a cheaper cure before paying a professional. I bought this in March 2017 for all the mattresses and springs in my house and since then neither of us have had a single bite and almost 1 year later the covers are holding up tight with no rips or holes. Definitely recommend this product! UPDATE: I received an email from Amazon regarding this review and wanted to provide another update. It is now March 2019 exactly 2 years since I bought this product and we still have not had any bites and the lids are still holding on. Some say the bed bugs should be dead by now and the blankets can be removed, but I'm not risking it!
