I absolutely LOVE this! Many of the reviews online for some of the hardware with a variety of manufacturers had comments about being cheap and low quality. This was listed as having "brass" fittings.not only was the pipe fitting itself brass, but the entire push button was made out of solid metal as well. The finish is beautiful (we ordered the Champagne Bronze). It took a little bit to realize, just push it flush with the trim to turn it on and off.we were thinking it had to be pushed all the way in.and then it would stick and be hard to operate; turned out it was just operator error, and knowing to just push flush to the trim and it easily goes on and off. It also takes a little bit of pressure to push the button in, which is good because it would make it unlikely that a toddler could push it in to turn it on (we don't have kids yet, but that was in the back of my mind). The exterior trim on this unit is 1.75" x 1.75".there were not any reviews with that information and I had to take a gamble; I was able to use some basic power tools to cut away some pieces of trim on our cabinet to make it fit just right. Just a note, on some split sinks, there is just enough space to place it on the cabinet face.so you have to measure 3 times to make sure you are centered correctly in order that the pipe fitting sets just where the sink spacing is.
