My daughter is 9 years old and she loves it. She spent quite a bit of time painting the outside first, then attaching a pillow and battery operated lamp inside, and continuing to decorate the inside with decorative tape and adding interesting elements like hanging her artwork or streamers. She goes in to read or play games on her iPad. I wish I had seen this a year ago because it's a cool item to have on hand on rainy days. Ideally we would have a friend to help her color but.COVID. The price is a little high for just a big box, but then again, she absolutely loves it, so go ahead and buy it.
