Upgrade to ModMic 5

Everything seems better than ModMic 5 which I have owned for over 2 years and ModMic 5 has been good from the start. The cable next to the mic is much easier to adjust to your liking and the mic seems to be of better quality overall. The mute button is a very nice addition, it's easy to press and the red LED indicator shows if the sound is muted or not. I was able to use the previous ModMic 5 magnet that attached to my headphones with this new one. With the USB input the audio is loud right off the bat, while for the ModMic 5 I had to buy a USB audio adapter to make my voice louder. This is a nice upgrade from ModMic 5 and I would definitely recommend it.

Pros

OFFERS 2 POLAR PATTERNS. Use omnidirectional mode when you want less pop from explosive noise and boom. The omni microphone capsule has no proximity effect. When you need clearer recording in noisy environments, unidirectional mode is the way to go!
