When I first needed to read books, I spent $350 at the optometrist for "progressive" glasses that didn't work at all for the job. just a tiny round circle to look through to read up close and even reading a small book I had to keep moving my head from left to right to keep the words if I wanted to concentrate. It was even worse at work where the pages were bigger! What a waste of money. Looking for a solution, I first came across the Foster Grant Progressives at Walgreens (they only had a few men's and women's models) and like them, they're perfect! These glasses are made to order but can you buy them straight off the shelf? Anyway they are perfect for work because through my computer I can see people coming into my office on my computer screen which is 3ft away from my face and up to my papers No lines, no small spots or dots and no blurring. Nursing grants cost about $35, but they work the same way for almost half the price. Couldn't be happier. Very convenient. Will buy again.
