This stool offers very good value for money. I love that it matches my Parisian decor and fits nicely at the foot of my double bed. It was a little smaller than I was hoping for to hold the many blankets I've collected over the years, but it works well. I overstuffed it a bit (it's a little torn in one photo) but it has a king size plush blanket inside and three extra blankets (the ones rolled up commercially) inside. If the royal duvet were removed, many duvets would fit. The overall appearance is elegant, delicate and durable. I can sit on it and weigh about 280 pounds and I don't feel any pressure or stress when I put my shoes on or put a movie in my DVD player. My dog loves this new addition, hence the blanket for his "bed". If I could improve one thing about the ottoman it would be shorter legs and a larger inner compartment. One day this will be a nice addition to a guest room and have a large suitcase at the foot of my bed, but it works great in the small space I have in my current room. Overall I am really excited about this stool and would recommend it and buy it again.
