I was dying to do some mountain bike self portraits with this trigger and based on the very little information available I was glad to try it. Pluto Trigger was pretty easy to set up and run. I really wish they had included more information about the different modes, but thanks to some YouTube research I got the hang of it. Unfortunately, after several pathetic attempts, I just couldn't get it to work. Initially, I bombed the descents pretty quickly and couldn't get in the frame, so I rode through very slowly dozens of times and still couldn't. not get it to work. A laser would be a great option, but getting a laser from 20 feet in the woods to hit a spot less than a dime away just isn't possible. I tried all the motion options but couldn't get the burst mode to work and the wind gave me thousands of photos of nothing but I couldn't find any of mine in the frame. Was very disappointed but a friend who is a professional photographer offered to take some photos. If you're trying to photograph water drops, I think this is a great option. With action/sports photography, you just can't replicate the other person behind the lens.
