I bought two for my dining area and they look really great. The reason I have below for the installation and assembly is that I had to put a spacer between the lampshade ring and the post it sits on as the lampshade sits askew on the lamp. But this is often the case with lampshades and the solution was relatively simple. During installation, one of the screws didn't stay on for some reason, and while tightening it to make it more secure, I flexed the side a bit. It's not noticeable, but it shouldn't be.
